Start-of-day chip leader Matt Yorra took a brutal beat when his pocket kings were outdrawn by the of his opponent.
With Yorra below average in the big blind, Kammar Andries and Bryce McVay limped. It was on Yorra and he shoved about 550,000. Andries had a decision on his hands, but found a fold. McVay quickly got out of the way and Yorra took the blinds and antes.
The remaining players headed on break while Yorra stacked his chips.

Justin Harvell
There was a pile of navy 25,000 chips already in the middle and the board laid . Justin Harvell was out of position in a heads-up pot versus Thomas Grey. Harvell shoved. Grey, who had about 650,000 behind, had Harvell covered. After a minute or so, Grey mucked and Harvell took a hefty pot without contest.

World Series of Poker Circuit National Champion Jonathan Hilton open-shoves his short stack
The players hit the rail at breakneck speed to start Day 2 deepening the average stack in a hurry. There’s still a handful of shorties, among them Jonathan Hilton.
Hilton, best known for his 2013 World Series of Poker National Championship victory and gold bracelet win, was recently down to about 130,000 and open-shoved from the cutoff. It folded to start-of-day chip leader Matt Yorra in the big blind and he got out of the way. Hilton took the blinds and antes and lived to fight another day.

Kammar Andries has enjoyed a strong Day 2 that most recently saw him open to 30,000 from middle position. Action was on John Thorpe in the small blind and he shoved for about 150,000. Andries snapped.

As forecasted, Day 2 started with a burst of bustouts. Florida pro Sean Shah was the first to go followed by a flurry of eliminations to narrow the action to the final three tables.

Yesterday’s Monster Stack kicked off at 11am with monster 538-entry field. The $100,000 guarantee was nearly doubled and the bubble came and went during Day 1’s 21 levels. The event is down to the final 32 and they’re well into the money with South Florida’s Matthew Yorra in front of the action.
Joining Yorra for Day 2 are notable Bryce McVay, Marke Dube and bracelet winner Jonathan Hilton.
More than a third of the field sits with less than 20 big blinds, so the restart is expected to hit the ground running. All still in have locked up $834, but the tournament’s champion is slated to head home with $34,704 and a gold ring.
