World Series of Poker Circuit National Champion Jonathan Hilton open-shoves his short stack

The players hit the rail at breakneck speed to start Day 2 deepening the average stack in a hurry. There’s still a handful of shorties, among them Jonathan Hilton.

Hilton, best known for his 2013 World Series of Poker National Championship victory and gold bracelet win, was recently down to about 130,000 and open-shoved from the cutoff. It folded to start-of-day chip leader Matt Yorra in the big blind and he got out of the way. Hilton took the blinds and antes and lived to fight another day.
