Jamie Kerstetter sent a tweet before the cash game for a little contest. She asked her followers to guess the size of the biggest pot before 10 pm and the guesses came in.
“Times running out,” she joked with the table. “We need a big pot.”
After a series of pot-sized betting, Kerstetter, Boston Rob Mariano, and short-stack Ray Henson had all their chips in the middle. The pot grew to $2,670 with Boston Rob Mariano having the other two covered.
– first board – second board
Going from back to front, Henson showed for nines and deuces on both boards. Both times he was good on the turn but bad on the river.
Mariano had and the river on the first board counterfeited Henson to give Boston Rob the bigger two pair, aces and fours.
Kerstetter showed and the river on the second board gave her a set of kings for the other half of the pot.
“How do these two rivers come and I get scooped,” Henson asked as he reached into his pocket for another buy-in.
In a PLO hand, Tana Karn limped, Sam Panzica raised to $50 and Justin Gardenhire called. Karn limp/raised to $200 with Panzica and Gardenhire coming along to the flop.
Then all the chips went in.
Karn was all in for $365, Gardenhire for $660 and Panzica was the biggest stack with $755.
Karn: Panzica: Gardenhire:
– first board – second board
Gardenhire made two pair, queens and sevens, on the first board. Panzica had queens and tens on the second board. Karn had his lonely pair of aces and watched as the dealer chopped up his stack for the other two.
Showing how volatile (and insanely fun) this table has been running, there were three straddles before the cards were dealt and Justin Gardenhire shoved for $400 second to act and Ray Henson called all in for $250 from the cutoff. The blinds and straddles all thought better of getting in middle of those two and folded.
Per the standard, they ran out two boards.
– first board – second board
Henson showed and Gardenhire laughed.
“I saw a deuce and shoved.”
Gardenhire had , Henson’s jack kicked played on the top board and he made a club flush on the bottom to scoop,
Justin Gardenhire has been the most active early and had two big hands that went his way. Even with a chop.
He opened a NLH pot and Jamie Kerstetter moved all in for $325.
“Jamie’s got it!” Gardenhire laughed. He called and kept his cards down while Kerstetter showed . “I have an over.” They agreed to run it twice:
– first board – second board
Gardenhire flipped up his and he caught an ace on the second board for the fortunate chop.
Soon after, he was heads up with Anna Antimony with the flop reading . Gardenhire tossed in four black chips from the small blind and Antimony called for ~$270. Gardenhire showed for two pair and Antimony kept her cards close as they ran it twice.
– first board – second board
Antimony checked her cards a couple times, mucked, and reached for a rebuy.
Cards are in the air for the RunGood All-Stars cash game with eight players having a lot of fun already. They will be switching up between $2/$2/$5 Pot Limit Omaha and $2/$5/$10 No Limit Hold’em and everybody started with a friendly $500 out front.
Seat 1: Justin Gardenhire – $500 Seat 2: Boston Rob Mariano – $500 Seat 3: Ray Henson – $500 Seat 4: Tana Karn – $500 Seat 5: Jamie Kerstetter – $500 Seat 6: Chris Conrad – $500 Seat 7: Anna Antimony – $500 Seat 8: Hayley Hochstetler – $500

There were no ring events on the schedule today, the only tournament was the $80 Main Event Mega satellite which gave away eight seats, but we have the RunGood All-Stars cash game about to get underway in the Poker Room
Participating along with our regulars, RunGood All-Stars in the game will include Bob Rob Mariano, Ray Henson, Jamie Kerstetter, Katerina Lukina, Chris Conrad, and Justin Gardenhire. They’ll be playing some fun Pot Limit Omaha/No Limit Hold’em mix.
In addition to that game, our $777 Bonus High Hand promotion continues into the evening. Starting at 11 am, we began giving out $777 for the highest hand every 30 minutes. We’ve extended the promotion just for today and will keep it running until midnight instead of the usual 9 pm.
That announcement was met with a loud round of applause.
We will update along the way with some big hands and various shenanigans throughout the evening.
2021 RunGood Series Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Event 3 $130 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) $10,000 Guaranteed Entries: 232 Prize Pool: $22,736 August 25, 2021
We bumped up the normal Wednesday $130 Deep Stack action with some visiting players and a RunGood ring to the champ. The tournament drew 232 entries and Alan Katsnelson outlasted them all for the win, the ring, and $5,359.
The tournament more than doubled up its $10,000 guarantee and they were playing for a $22,736 prize pool. The last 29 players earned some money as the big tournament played late into the evening.
Katsnelson earned the outright win after defeating Justin Datloff heads-up and he added another piece of jewelry to his collection. He has two recorded tournament wins and his other resulted in a ring as the Coco WSOP Circuit Event 1 winner in 2019.
Congrats to Alan and thanks again for the fantastic turnout!
2021 RunGood Series Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Event 1 $250 Super Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $25,000 Guaranteed Entries: 376 Prize Pool: $77,080 August 23-25, 2021
We kicked off our first RunGood series with a multi-flight tournament that was a huge success. The $250 Super Stack Event 1 field reached 376 entries and David Albertson took home $13,585 for the win along with the RunGood ring.
The turnout more than tripled the $25,000 guarantee to put $77,080 in the prize pool. We had 49 players survivor their opening flight and enter Day 2 already in the money.
Lisa Teebagy returned for Day 2 with the chip lead and stayed at the top of the counts for most of the day as the field dropped towards the final table. She was still up top when the last nine players gathered as one and it looked like she was going to roll over the table wielding her massive stack.
Meanwhile, Albertson was steadily sticking around the top of the counts until they were three-handed. Mark Cannon ran his tens into the aces of Albertson for a huge pot, catapulting him into the lead, and they quickly agreed to divide up the remaining prize pool down the middle.
Teebagy earned $13,584 for the runner-up finish while Albertson took home his $13,585 top prize along with the shiny RunGood ring.
