Seminole Poker regular Scott Efron made a late move over the last few levels to take the lead over Steve Karp. Lisa Teebagy moved her stack higher but fell off the pace of the other two.

Tournament staff sent players on a shortened 10-minute break to give a few more minute for players to get in. Registration is now closed with an unofficial 74 entrants, leaving just 26 needed in the evening session to reach the $50,000 Guarantee.

Lisa Teebaby has taken over the lead with less than half of the starting entrants still around. She came close to making the Event 5 final table last night, finishing in 11th, and ready to make another deep run.

Event 6 (Day 1A): Last Level to Register

$560 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 9: 600/1,200/200 Ante

Flight 1A has entered Level 9, the last chance to get into the morning/afternoon session. There are 70 entrants showing on the board with several top stacks hitting the re-entry button.

T.K. Miles and Trevor Doughty are firing off one more while they can. Players have this 30-minute level and 15-minute break to run up their stack, crash it down for a re-entry, or try to ride it though Level 14.

Event 6 (Day 1A): Bader Jumps Ahead

Level 7: 400/800/100 Ante

It was a good three levels for Brett Bader and looks like it was at the expense of former leader Trevor Doughty. Bader was another late register after the first break and has more than tripled his 20K starting stack.

Doughty is now under the starting stack amount while Scott Efron continues to make noise in the series. He’s up to 55,300 among the leader.

Notable stacks:

Brett Bader – 62,100 (78 bb)
Scott Efron – 55,300 (69 bb)
Howard Mash – 42,200 (53 bb)

T.K. Miles (Tallahassee, FL)
T.K. Miles (Tallahassee, FL)

The tournament field is growing and one entrant away from hitting 60, a good pace for the early. T.K. Miles came in before the first break and cruising along now after recently knocking out an opponent.

Miles travels around the world for the biggest tournaments and has cashed for $1.2 million in his career. He earned a WSOP Circuit ring in the golden days of 2007 and followed up with a WSOP Circuit New Orleans Main Event runner-up result in 2008. Miles also has Seminole success when he captured the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Summer Poker Open Championship title in 2014.

Trevor Doughty (Seguin, TX)

We’re barely into the afternoon hours, so movement has been steady with the deep stacks in play. No one doubled their starting stack over the first three levels but Trevor Doughty came close with 35,625.

There’s still a long way to go before they bag up at the end of Level 14 but it’s a nice start. Doughty has three final table appearances on Seminole properties but still waiting for his first Coco Poker Open cash.
