Cord Garcia

Earlier this evening, Cord Garcia won his third career WSOP Circuit ring. (see below). The Colossus champ took his payout slip to the window, cashed in his victory, and walked to the registration desk to jump into the High Roller.

They have about one more hour to play in Day 1 and we expect a few more to join. If they don’t this evening, they can register up until the start of Day 2 tomorrow at 2 pm.

The High Roller recently returned from their last break of the day and the tournament is already a huge success. It crossed the $50,000 guaranteed prize pool in the first level, doubled it up not long after, and now it sits at $126,000 with 63 entries. Day 1 will come to an end after Level 12 and registration will remain open until cards go in the air for Day 2.

David Moses and David DiBernardi look like the two biggest stacks in the room, each over 130,000 and doing well so far.

The High Roller kicked off at 4 pm and we have a great turnout already. With late registration open until the start of Day 2 plus 40-minute levels, these things usually take a while to build up some steam.

Not today.

There are 25 entries here at the midpoint of Level 1 and that is good enough to match the $50,000 Guarantee. They’ll keep spinning it up over the 12 levels of play this evening.

The WSOP Circuit Main Event kicks off tomorrow and that means it is time to roll out the popular High Roller. The two-day $2,200 buy-in tournament has a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool and it will attract some of best players in the area.

High Rollers will sit down to 30,000 starting stacks and they will play 40-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration and re-entries are available all day long and will close at the start of Day 2 on Friday. Day 1 will continue through 12 full levels before survivors bag up for the day.

Cards go in the air at 4 pm and the High Roller will be among our highest priorities along with the Monster Stack.
