Championship: Martinez Eliminated by Lind

$1,100 Coco Poker Showdown Championship
Level 15: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 25 of 202

Miguel Martinez stands as his stack is pushed to Staffan Lind

Migueal Martinez is the most recent Championship elimination falling to Staffan Lind. Martinez flopped the nut flush draw with AdJd on a Td9d8c board, but was second best to Lind’s set with 9c9s. The Kh on the turn and the Ts didn’t improve Martinez and he was eliminated shy of the money.

With the exit, 25 players remain and the top 21 earn a payday.

Miguel Martinez – Eliminated

Championship: Zaydman Doubles through Ciresi

$1,100 Coco Poker Showdown Championship
Level 15: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 27 of 202

There was a raise to 12,000 from the cutoff. The button folded and action was on Charlie Ciresi in the small blind. Ciresi, who had the cutoff covered as well as Elliott Zaydman who was in the big blind, jammed. Zaydman shoved for less and the cutoff mucked.

Ciresi: AhKh
Zaydman: AcJc

Zaydman verbally conceded the pot, saying, “Nice hand,” as the dealer burned and turned. Unfortunately for Ciresi, three clubs fell — Kc6c3c — giving Zaydman the nut flush. The turn and river fell meaningless Th and 5s and Zaydman scored an unlikely double through Ciresi. The all-in call was counted down to 95,500.

Elliott Zaydman doubles through Charlie Ciresi

Elliott Zaydman – 210,000 (51 bb)
Charlie Ciresi – 90,000 (22 bb)
