Event 1: A Closer Look at the Multi-Stack Bonus

$130 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Joseph Patalano (Wellington, Fla.)
Through four starting flights, Joseph Patalano of Wellington, Fla. is the only player to earn the multi-stack bonus payout.

Event 1 of the Coco Poker Showdown offers a bonus payout for each Day 2 a player advances to after their first. Participants are permitted to play any and all starting flights and those who advance to Day 2 more than once forfeit their smallest stack(s) in exchange for a payday equal to the value of the tournament’s min-cash. These payouts will be processed on Day 2 after the prize pool is finalized.

Through four starting flights, Joseph Patalano of Wellington, Fla. is the only player to earn the multi-stack bonus. He squeaked his 2,000-chip stack into the money during Flight A, then bagged 67,500 in last night’s Flight D.

Level 4: 150/300/25 Ante

Tournament Clock

With 133 players registered toward the beginning of Level 4, Flight D of Event 1 is on pace to be the largest yet. This, of course, comes as no surprise to staff who have adjusted accordingly.

In addition to tables in the cash room, they’ve made space in The Pavilion, which will serve as the primary area for tournament play tonight. With 10 additional tables, all overflow will go into the cash room and break back into The Pavilion.

Sometimes you have to improvise, and Friday night in South Florida is one of those times!
