The money bubble was a long process, taking 10 hands and 20 minutes (tournament clock time, not real, actual time) to get there. While they were working towards the bubble, Neil Blumenfield temporarily took the chip lead with +600,000 after pulling a 300K pot against Janet Fitzgerald.

Then the big hand went down. Mark Dube called an opponent’s 22,000 open and the flop came . His opponent checked, Dube bet 22,000 and his opponent moved all in for ~170,000. There was no official count of the stack because Dube instantly called.

Dube’s opponent picked up an open-ended straight draw on the turn but Dube filled his boat up on the river to send him out while putting the rest of the field in the money. He is now over 800,000 and way out front of the rest.
