There’s been very little slowdown in the number of players entering (or re-entering in some cases) and the entry count is up to 278 with 304 needed to make the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. It now looks like it might get there in the first flight with nearly two hours left to register.

Irene Carey is one of the recent entries after she went big for her first visit. The California grinder earned her first WSOP Circuit ring in August when she won the 443-entry $400 No Limit Hold’em tournament during the Global Casino Championship series. Last night she made the final table of our $400 Double Stack Turbo but fell short of her second ring, going out in fourth place.
