$350 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 15: 2,500/5,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 9 of 100
After starting the final table second to last in the counts, Nachman Berlin was whittled down to just 13,500. He was under the gun and jammed. It folded to Tim Kegel in the cutoff.
“I’m trying to double you up,” Kegel said to Berlin.
“No. Don’t double me up,” Berlin laughed back. “I’d be fine with a fold.”
Not only did Kegel call, but Steve Zukowski came along from the button as well. With that, Berlin had the opportunity to triple. Kegel and Zukowski were battling for a side pot.
Flop:
Kegel checked and Zukowski bet 25,000. Kegel folded and Zukowski had Berlin at risk.
Zukowski: for top pair
Berlin: for ace-high
Zukowski had outdrawn Berlin, and the turn and river didn’t improve either player. Berlin was eliminated in 10th place earning $700.
Steve Zukowski – 167,000
Nachman Berlin – Eliminated
