After four hands on the bubble, a short-stacked player open-shoved for 44,500 from the cutoff and Carey Pickus reshoved for 109,000 from the button. Ben Zamani moved all in from the small blind for a similar stack and the big blind released.

Zamani, the former WPT Player of the Year, was looking good with the kings and the dealer spread the clean board for the hand to hold. The short-stack player was eliminated on the bubble and they counted down the stacks for Pickus and Zamani. He had 107,500 and Pickus stayed in the game, in the money, with 1,500 (good for three antes).

Tournament staff redrew seats for the last three tables and they are back in action.

It took a little longer than one level to hit the money bubble but they got there not long after the start of Level 18. There are 28 players remaining with 27 getting paid. They are going into hand-for-hand mode until one person is eliminated, the clock is paused with two minutes coming off for each hand dealt.

The short, ten-minute came to an end and we are back underway in Event 1. We have another new leader with former WSOP Circuit winner John DePersion building his stack up to 415,000. Ory Hen sits in second with 320,000 and a lot of players in the 150,000 neighborhood.

Event 1 is down to 39 players and only a few eliminations away from the last four tables. We still have some South Florida regulars around with a chance at the ring including Tristan Wade, David Moreno, and Carey Pickus.

The list of players no longer with us has some big names as well with Jason Young, Mike Laake, and four-time WSOP Circuit (and WSOP bracelet winner) Phil Hui dropped out after the dinner break and will have to fire again tomorrow in Event 2.

The post-dinner pace is moving right along and two tables of players were eliminated in the first 30 minutes back. There are six tables remaining and the stacks are shifting along with the fast play.

Former Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Ory Hen looks like he his taking his turn atop the chip counts and has more than 180,000 as they work towards the money bubble.

Tournament staff put the numbers together and Event 1 drew 243 entries to easily surpass the $50,000 Guarantee. They combined to put $80,190 in the prize pool with the last 27 spots paid out.

A min-cash will take home $648 while the Event 1 champ will bank $19,649 along with the first WSOP Circuit ring of the series.

Event 1 players returned from dinner break and registration is officially closed on the first tournament on the WSOP Circuit schedule. We will post the prize pool and payout numbers once the full accounting is complete.

SHRP regular Ido Ashkenazi was one of the first players over six digits but he has been surpassed. Luke Doolittle came back to his seat as the chip leader and his 156,600 is setting the post-break pace.

Doolittle has over $100K in career tournament earnings including a fourth-place finish in the 2017 Coco Poker Showdown Main Event for nearly $16,000.

Ido Ashkenazi has found his way to a six-figure stack midway through Level 12. The Seminole regular has had a number of cashes and a handful of wins in South Florida, but none here in Coconut Creek. Some of his most notable scores include Everglades Poker Open and a Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown wins. Most recently, he carded a sixth-place finish in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship just last month earning better than $156,000.
