David Prociak

The Main Event gets two thumbs up from former Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year David Prociak. Prociak burst onto the Seminole scene in 2016 putting a hurt on the properties’ Main Events and donning the POY title. In the time since, Prociak has added accolades including a gold bracelet and a gold ring. In all, the Orlando-area pro owns 10 tournament titles including eight Seminole trophies.

The first break’s a wrap and 276 players are back in their seats in the $1,700 buy-in World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event. That number puts the combined field at 629, just a few shy of the number needed to hit the guarantee.

Kyle Taddie

No stack has grown itself noticeably above the rest as there are a number of players that have a good go of the first few levels. Kyle Taddie has one of the best in the room with about 63,500. That’s good for a double-up and then some and he’s in good position to start Level 4.

Win a Seat winner, Ann Graham

Ann Graham is your 2019 Seminole Casino Coconut Creek World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event Win a Seat winner. Graham, who hails from the Northeast, visited HardRockPoker.com/Win where she found the property’s WSOP Circuit Win a Seat contest. She provided her name, e-mail and zip code and was automatically entered in the contest. A few weeks later, her name was drawn at random and she’s now in the Day 1B game at no cost to her.

Congratulations, Ann! Stay tuned for future contests during our major series.

Main Event Day 1B: Climbing to the Guarantee

Single Re-Entry Per Flight
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 1: 50/100

The Saturday action is here and it’s forecast to pack The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Today’s play marks Day 1B of the property’s $1,700 buy-in, $1,000,000 guaranteed World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event. This is the last of two starting days and comes on the heels of yesterday’s Day 1 that drew a strong 353 entries. That figure means the tournament is only 308 buy-ins away from the seven-figure guarantee — a feat expected to be easily accomplished during this weekend headliner.

As they did yesterday, Day 1B players take their seats to 30,000 starting chips and are set to log 40-minute levels on Day 1. A one-hour dinner break occurs following Level 9 (~5:20pm to 6:20pm) while registration is slated to close following Level 12 (~8:30pm). Action concludes following Level 15 (~10:30pm). Those still around at end of day bag and tag set to join the Day 1A advancers for Day 2 tomorrow at 12pm.
