Registration closed for the RunGood Poker Series Super Stack event with 798 entries over the three starting flights. They combined to easily surpass the $100,000 guarantee and create a prize pool worth $259,350.

The last 101 spots will be paid on Day 2 with $524 for a min-cash and $46,250 up top for the Event 1 champ plus the winner will receive a seat in the 2022 RunGood All-Stars ProAm coming up in December in Las Vegas.

Francois Gagne took the lead midway through Flight C and increased his stack to end the day with the overall lead coming back for Day 2. He finished with 566,000 to out pip James Salmon’s 549,000 from Flight A.

Flight C dropped to 45 players and tournament staff paused the clock. They broke a table and began play on the money bubble with 44 advancing.

Two hands into the bubble, Al Stevens open-shoved for 73,000 from middle position and Raminder Singh woke up with a hand in the big blind.

A tough bubble cooler for Stevens and he couldn’t find a save as the board ran out . He picked up a club draw on the turn but was eliminated on the bubble.

The remaining 44 players are bagging their chips for a Day 2 return tomorrow at noon in the money.

Action folded to the cutoff and he opened to 20,000. David “Coldstone” Inselberg ripped it in from the small blind and the cutoff called.

Inselberg was dominating with the pocket aces but his opponent added outs when he paired his jack on the flop. The turn added a club draw but the aces held on the river.

Flight C players returned from the last break of the day and Francois Gagne continues to hold a big lead on the rest of the field. He is up to 435,000 with Lucas Mendes a distance second with 277,000.

Metin Guner sits in third with 268,000 followed by defending RunGood Main Event champ (and reigning RunGood ProAm winner) Raminder Singh making a move with 260,000.

With the flop reading , a player moved all in for 36,000 and Metin Guner called.

Guner was behind with two over cards and a tiny gutshot draw. His bingo came immediately on the turn and he knocked his opponent out after the river finished the board.

Guner was already on our radar with a nice stack of 25K chips and now looks like the leader with 340,000.

The field is quickly dropping and they are under 100 for the first time since the start of the day. That means stacks are growing and Blake Robinson is one of those making a late surge.

Robinson is up to 255,000 while Francois continues to lead with 281,000. Willie Wiggins is rolling in third with 245,000 and Lucas Mendes is holding pace at 214,000.

Registration closed for the RunGood Poker Series Super Stack tournament with 798 entries over three starting flights. The $100,000 guarantee was crushed and they put together a prize pool worth $259,530. Payout information will be published later this evening once Flight C bags up.

Action will continue this evening until only 44 players remain. Survivors will return tomorrow at noon for Day 2 and already in the money.

Players are back in their seats after the second break and registration is closed for the tournament. The clock shows an unofficial 349 entries for Flight C and we will report the official numbers as soon as they are available.

We have a new leader in the room. Francois Gagne is continuing a nice heater and sits with 275,000 for a nice lead. He won a $400 Deep Stack in Hollywood during their Poker Showdown series and he’s looking good again.

Lucas Mendes is in second with 256,000 followed by Willie Wiggins and his 180,000 with a lot of players over 100K.
