$80 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Turbo Bounty
Level 1: 50/100

Today’s 12 p.m. $80 no limit hold’em tournament isn’t just a no limit hold’em tournament. It isn’t just a no limit hold’em deep stack tournament, either. Furthermore, it’s not even a no limit hold’em deep stack turbo tournament. Finally, and I promise we’ll stop after this one, it’s a no limit hold’em deep stack turbo bounty tournament.

Players begin the unique event with 16,000-chip starting stacks and will play 15-minute levels throughout. $40 of the $80 buy-in goes to the prize pool while another $20 counts as a player’s bounty.

Late registration/unlimited re-entry is available until the start of Level 13 and this tournament is expected to play out in one day.

The Flight F clock shows 60 players remaining. The tournament is expected to wrap within the next couple hours and complete Day 2 chip counts as well as final prize pool information will be posted ASAP in the morning.

Registration is closed in tonight’s 6 p.m. Flight F. The last of six starting flights in Event 1 of the Coco Poker Showdown, Flight F didn’t disappoint. With 266 players, it marked the largest of the start days and surged the combined field well past 1,100 entries. Additionally, it helped push the prize pool to $115,600, comfortably by the $100,000 guarantee.

As they did last night, Event 1 players are filing into The Pavilion, a banquet spaced used to accommodate the larger-than-expected fields in Event 1. Per usual for a Saturday, the poker room is booming with action. In order to better serve both cash and tournament grinders, the majority of tournament play will take place here with any overflow going back into the poker room

If tonight is anything like last night, the sixth and final starting flight is sure to be the largest of the lot. As of now, the clock shows nearly 200 players entered with registration open until 9:15 p.m. ET.

Event 1 Day 1F: $100K is a Thing of the Past

Level 4 in Flight F of Event 1 is underway and the $100,000 guarantee is officially a thing of the past. With the clock showing 160 entries the combined field stands at 1,050 putting the prize pool at $105,000 and growing.

Registration in the sixth and final starting flight is open until 9:15 p.m. local time and the complete attendance figure will be posted shortly thereafter.

Nectar at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

Nectar, a bar and lounge, is open seven days a week. In addition to live music and specialty cocktails, the establishment offers sushi (and a sushi happy hour Monday – Friday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.) as well as gourmet pizzas from noon – 4 a.m.

According to the property’s website:

“Fill your ears with live music from the area’s hottest bands & dance the night away to the sounds of your favorite DJs. Awaken your taste buds with trendy cocktails, Nectar sushi & gourmet pizza. Entertain your friends with VIP bottle service for groups of eight or more.”

Nectar is open daily from noon – 4 a.m. with extended hours serving until 5 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
