With 171 entries midway through Level 3, the prize pool in tonight’s $130 deep stack is just over halfway to its $30,000 guarantee. Doing his part to help juice the kiddie is South Florida regular Ory Hen. Hen, the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year, went bust early, promptly re-entered and has already been spotted active in a handful of pots. He’s among the notables shaking things up during the early stages of play.

This is the second of 15 primary events on the Coco Poker Open schedule and it’s expected to wrap some time well after midnight.

Delray Beach’s Brandon Berkenfeld is at home on a South Florida poker table. This past January he finished 3rd in this very event during the property’s Coco Poker Showdown. In all, he’s scored nearly $35,000 in earnings following 20 in-the-money finishes at a mix of Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood and a number of other local rooms.

With a stack of 38,500, he currently sits toward the top of the Coco Poker Open Omaha hi/low chip counts and looks to add to a growing list of cashes.

With the start of Level 7 comes the end of registration in the Coco Poker Open $240 Omaha hi/low event. The 61-entry field generated a total prize pool of $12,400 besting the $10,000 guarantee comfortably. Each of the nine final table participants finishes in the money with a min-cash worth $372. The scores increase from there and top out in the form of a $3,720 first prize.
