Flight D of Event 13 continues to creep up close to 100 entrants and we’ve had a few notables hop in the later levels including three Seminole Hard Rock Poker Team Members. Sheddy Siddiqui was an early entrant but now he’s been joined by Jessica Dawley and WPT Season XII Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja among the tables as well.

Nearly 90 minutes remain for late registration and re-entry so there’s little doubt we’ll see the number go over 100 before that time.

Flight C quickly came to an end with exactly one round of hand-for-hand play. They got there when David Visconti called a short stack shove from the big blind with 4c3h. He needed help for the KO against 9d9h and found it right on the Ts4s3s flop. It finished with the Jd turn and 5h to put Flight C in the money.

The final ten players are bagging up their chips and will return for Day 2 on Sunday. David Maslowski finished the flight with the chip lead and his 311,500 put him in good position for the restart.

Like John Holley, World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Jonathan Hilton late registered just prior to Level 9. He took his seat to 16,000 starting chips and has turned those holding into 42,000 over the course of less than two levels.

Most recently, Hilton lead with a flush and got value off heads up runner up Howard Mash. Hilton took the pot and Mash grumbled in disgust.

John Holley

One of the last entries in Flight C was John Holley. Holley, who’s been on site for the majority of the series and notched numerous cashes including three in one day, entered the $350 during the last break and took his seat right after. He promptly got some change for his big chips, anted up and moved all-in from early position on the very first hand. Every got out of the way and with that, Holley was above starting stack.
