With the board out to the turn and reading , Michael Goldfarb bet 12,000 with 12,000 behind and Mike Laufer raised to 26,000 from the button. Goldfarb would have to call at risk and he took a minute to think about it before he called.

Goldfarb flopped top pair but he was crushed but Laufer’s middle set. The board finished with the turn and river to send Goldfarb out.

Laufer made some noise in November when he won the opening event of the Rock N Roll Poker Open in Hollywood, the state’s largest poker field ever at 6,196 entries. He will be trying to win his first WPT in a few weeks when he plays the WPT Poker Showdown Championship final table in Las Vegas.
