The 2015 Coco Poker Open is moving towards the final weekend with a few more non-Hold’em games in the mix. Today’s afternoon tournament will not have a huge field, but the Omaha specialists will mix with those new to the variant to make for a few tournament.
This time around they’ll play some Limit Omaha/8 and the split pot format will keep things chopping up all day. It will end with someone scooping a pot to become the next champion.
The $240 buy-in tournament has a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool and late registration open until the end of Level 6. Players begin with 10,000 stacks and play 30-minutes throughout the event. This is a one-day tournament but the remaining players will have an option to stop the tournament at 11pm or play it out, as long as they’ve reached the final table.
