Brian Hastings

Event 7 was scheduled as a two-day tournament but four-time WSOP bracelet winner took care of business in one. The $1,125 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha game attracted 45 talented players and they had a long grind to make the final table.

Even once there, they still had to work their way to the money bubble with seven getting paid. Tough players like David Prociak, Phil Hui and Jerry Wong were unable to make it that far but Hastings continued to build.

With time running out in Day 1, Hastings sent Sterling Savill and James Lopker out then eliminated WSOP bracelet winner Howard Mash on the last hand of the night to negate the necessity of a Day 2.

Hasting now has a WSOP Circuit ring to go along with his four bracelets.

1st: Brian Hastings – $16,248 + WSOP Circuit ring
2nd: Howard Mash – $10,043
3rd: James Lopker – $6,735
4th: Sterling Savill – $4,626
5th: Andrew Lauer – $3,256
6th: Farid Dhanani – $2,351
7th: Artem Maksimov – $1,741
