Richard Kessler doubled into the chip lead shortly after the start of heads up play but they were soon in a dead heat as Steven “Mike” Bennett chipped back up.

The two played small ball for nearly an hour without either taking a big advantage until the final hand put the tournament to bed.

Bennett was all-in with after saying he couldn’t fold an Ace at that point and Kessler was a big favorite with . The took away one of Bennett’s outs before the turn left him drawing dead.

The two could have battled for a long time but they were done after four hours of final table action. Bennett takes home $2,696 for his efforts but he knows he could have won it all earlier. Kessler earned $4,684 for the win, his biggest tournament cash to date.
