Event 1 flew through three breaks after dinner and the field was whittled down to the last four tables (minus a few heads). The black chips are coming out of play and they will return looking to make the money in the first level back.

We mentioned Martin Ryan, the defending champ from this event last February, but he is no longer in contention to repeat. Bryce McVay is still in with a chance to improve last year’s position by a little. He lost to Ryan in Event 1 last year to fall one spot short for the ring.
