It’s 12-noon in Coconut Creek and Day 1 of the 2016 Coco Poker Open is off and running. The first of 15 primary events gets things started with a $240 Omaha hi-low re-entry tournament. Players begin with 10,000 chips and are set to log 30-minute levels with late registration and re-entry available until the start of Level 7.

The Coco Poker Open runs through October 2 and is headlined by this weekend’s $2,500 buy-in, $1,000,000 guaranteed Championship. The South Florida series marks the second event of the 2016/2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker season and the aforementioned Championship is points eligible in the Player of the Year Race meaning its winner will receive a seat in next August’s $5,250 Championship in Hollywood.
