2021 Run Good Poker Series Schedule

Tapping Out

That will wrap up our bit of coverage of the RunGood All-Star cash game. They are still going but seem to be winding down as the game gets deeper. Everyone had (or having) a blast and we’re happy to have hosted such a fun group of players.

We will see everyone tomorrow at 10 am for Flight A of the 2021 RunGood Main Event!

Ray Henson Scooped in Biggest Pot of Session

RunGood All-Stars Cash Game

Jamie Kerstetter sent a tweet before the cash game for a little contest. She asked her followers to guess the size of the biggest pot before 10 pm and the guesses came in.

“Times running out,” she joked with the table. “We need a big pot.”

After a series of pot-sized betting, Kerstetter, Boston Rob Mariano, and short-stack Ray Henson had all their chips in the middle. The pot grew to $2,670 with Boston Rob Mariano having the other two covered.

6d4c2d9d4s – first board
9h4h2c8cKc – second board

Going from back to front, Henson showed 9c7s3d2h for nines and deuces on both boards. Both times he was good on the turn but bad on the river.

Mariano had AdAsKs8h and the 4s river on the first board counterfeited Henson to give Boston Rob the bigger two pair, aces and fours.

Kerstetter showed AcKdKh5s and the Kc river on the second board gave her a set of kings for the other half of the pot.

“How do these two rivers come and I get scooped,” Henson asked as he reached into his pocket for another buy-in.

Justin Gardenhire and Sam Panzica Chop Up Tana Karn

RunGood All-Stars Cash Game

Tana Karn

In a PLO hand, Tana Karn limped, Sam Panzica raised to $50 and Justin Gardenhire called. Karn limp/raised to $200 with Panzica and Gardenhire coming along to the Qc6s3h flop.

Then all the chips went in.

Karn was all in for $365, Gardenhire for $660 and Panzica was the biggest stack with $755.

Karn: AdAc7c3c
Panzica: AhQhTh8s
Gardenhire: Qs9h7h4c

Qc6s3h7d2s – first board
Qc6s3hKdTc – second board

Gardenhire made two pair, queens and sevens, on the first board. Panzica had queens and tens on the second board. Karn had his lonely pair of aces and watched as the dealer chopped up his stack for the other two.

Ray Henson Catches Justin Gardenhire

RunGood All-Stars Cash Game

Showing how volatile (and insanely fun) this table has been running, there were three straddles before the cards were dealt and Justin Gardenhire shoved for $400 second to act and Ray Henson called all in for $250 from the cutoff. The blinds and straddles all thought better of getting in middle of those two and folded.

Per the standard, they ran out two boards.

AhQh7hAc7h – first board
Kc8c4s9dQc – second board

Henson showed Jc7c and Gardenhire laughed.

“I saw a deuce and shoved.”

Gardenhire had 8s2d, Henson’s jack kicked played on the top board and he made a club flush on the bottom to scoop,

Justin Gardenhire Splashing

RunGood All-Stars Cash Game

Justin Gardenhire

Justin Gardenhire has been the most active early and had two big hands that went his way. Even with a chop.

He opened a NLH pot and Jamie Kerstetter moved all in for $325.

“Jamie’s got it!” Gardenhire laughed. He called and kept his cards down while Kerstetter showed KsKh. “I have an over.” They agreed to run it twice:

Qh5c2d5d4c – first board
QcQs2cAsTs – second board

Gardenhire flipped up his AcTc and he caught an ace on the second board for the fortunate chop.

Soon after, he was heads up with Anna Antimony with the flop reading 8s7c6d. Gardenhire tossed in four black chips from the small blind and Antimony called for ~$270. Gardenhire showed 8s6h for two pair and Antimony kept her cards close as they ran it twice.

8s7c6dAcQh – first board
8s7c6dThKc – second board

Antimony checked her cards a couple times, mucked, and reached for a rebuy.

Justin Gardenhire – $945

RunGood All-Stars Cash Game Action

RunGood All-Stars Cash Game Action

There were no ring events on the schedule today, the only tournament was the $80 Main Event Mega satellite which gave away eight seats, but we have the RunGood All-Stars cash game about to get underway in the Poker Room

Participating along with our regulars, RunGood All-Stars in the game will include Bob Rob Mariano, Ray Henson, Jamie Kerstetter, Katerina Lukina, Chris Conrad, and Justin Gardenhire. They’ll be playing some fun Pot Limit Omaha/No Limit Hold’em mix.

In addition to that game, our $777 Bonus High Hand promotion continues into the evening. Starting at 11 am, we began giving out $777 for the highest hand every 30 minutes. We’ve extended the promotion just for today and will keep it running until midnight instead of the usual 9 pm.

That announcement was met with a loud round of applause.

We will update along the way with some big hands and various shenanigans throughout the evening.
