Rafay Asrar

The last event on the WSOP Circuit was a one-day $250 No Limit Hold’em ring event that had consequences beyond the ring and payout. There were three players at the final table, each with a chance to win the Casino Championship.

Zachary Mullennix needed a win and some help but fell short in seventh place. Howard Mash, thanks to seven cashes this series, was tied for the lead but had to settle for eighth place. That left Scott Roberts all alone. He finished second to wrap up the $10,000 Global Casino Championship seat.

Rafay Asrar continued a strong couple of days. He picked up his first career WSOP cash yesterday when he finished 18th out of 617 entries in the WSOP Circuit Main Event. Now Asrar turned around and won the final ring of the series along with $7,256 plus the WSOP Circuit ring.
