Coming soon poker players in South Florida will have the opportunity to take part in a World Poker Tour (“WPT”) live streamed event as the Championship Event of the 2014 Lucky Hearts Poker Open gets underway on Friday. We are expecting a huge field in this $1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament. The Seminole Hard Rock Casino at Coconut Creek is running frequent satellites to give players an affordable shot at this once in a lifetime prize. There will be a minimum of 46 guaranteed seats given away in one of our many mega satellites over the next five days.
The buy in for the tournament will be $3,500 and there are two starting days. Day 1A will take place Friday at noon with Day 1B starting Saturday at noon. Those lucky enough to make it through Day 1 will return on Sunday at 1 pm where they will play down to 36 players (or 27 if time permits). Day 3 on Monday will play down to the 6 handed televised final table.
Players will start with 30,000 in chips and levels will be 60 minutes in duration on Day 1, 90 minutes in duration on Day 2 and 3, and 60 minutes long at the final table (with levels shortened to 30 minutes once we get heads up). The winner of the tournament will also receive a seat into the WPT Championship Event at Borgata at the end of April.
