In addition to his WSOP accomplishments, he scored a title in a $300 H.O.R.S.E. event during last year’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open on top of some sizable scores during the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open and Poker Showdown series.

Beckley  and Blumenfield shared the WSOP Main Event final table spotlight back in 2015, finishing in second and third respectively. Beckley got the best of him scoring better than $4,470,000 to Blumenfield’s $3,398,000.

At present, Blumenfield hasb’t been spotted in the Flight C field, but it’s safe to bet he’ll make an appearance at some point.

Event 2 Flight C: David Ward Quadrupled Following Break

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Flight C Entries: 261 (Total Entries: 711)

Cards are back in the air following the first break of the day and it’s a strong turnout with more than 260 entries in the game. That puts the combined field at 711 generating nearly $235,000 toward the $300,000 guarantee.

David Ward

There are a number of big stacks emerging, and David Ward is among them. Ward recently caught a fortuitous 10 giving him the best of it versus a worse straight and another opponent’s set. The hand won him a nice pot and accounted for a good chunk of his roughly 60,000 chips.

Registration and re-entry remains open in Event 2 until about 5:30.
