Herbert Woodbery

Flight A is creeping down towards a magic number that might end their day early. The structure says they will play through 18 levels or 12% of the field, whichever comes first. With 247 entries, that 12% number might hit before they reach the end of Level 18.

Herbert Woodbery looks like your current leader with a couple barrels of 5K chips and around 250,000 as Flight A nears the end.

Event 2 Flight A: Tristan Wade Cruising

Flight A Players Remaining: 45 of 247

Flight A is shrinking as they inch closer to their end-of-day play and Tristan Wade is making a bid for another deep run in only the second day of the series.

Wade is over 160,000 in the late stages of the day less than 24 hours after he finished 16th in Event 1 for a fine start to the trip.

The board completed with the Js and Conrad lead for 16,600. Palacio took just a moment or two to think before calling.

Conrad took a healthy pot and increased his stack to around 100,000.

The 4pm Flight B of the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek WSOP Circuit Re-Entry got underway about 40 minutes ago and Level 2 is going now. The clock reads nearly 100 entries in the action and they combined with Flight A field to make a portion of the overall field.

Like its 11am predecessor, the 4pm Flight B sees players get 15,000-chip starting stacks for their $400 buy-in. Registration and re-entry are available until the start of Level 13 with play concluding following Level 18.

With Flight A deeper into the structure, that’s where we’ll concentrate the majority of live reporting efforts. Updates for Flight B will begin when A concludes.

Event 2 Flight A: Tristan Wade

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed
 | Structure
Level 9: 400/800 with a 100 Ante
Flight A Entries: 244

Tristan Wade

The Flight A entry count is continuing an upward tick and approaching the 250 mark. That puts the tournament well on pace to best the $300,000 guaranteed with a prize pool already in excess of $80,000. Registration is still open for Flight A and three additional flights remain to climb the entries higher.

One player standing above the rest here midway in the opening flight is Tristan Wade. Wade has about 100,000 chips and looks to add to accolades that include a WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year title and more than $1,700,000 in reported earnings.

Event 2 Flight A: Zoltan Czinkota Going Good in Level 9

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed
 | Structure
Level 9: 300/600 with a 100 Ante
Flight A Entries: 240

Zoltan Czinkota

Another Florida regular is making waves here in the Flight A of the WSOP Circuit $400 re-entry. Zoltan Czinkota has been on a hot streak turning his 15,000 chips into about 90,000. That’s good for one of the big stacks and puts Czinkota on pace for a potential bag here in the series opener.

Czinkota has had some good success at Seminole events including a third-place finish in the 2016 Player of the Year race. That title won him entries in various events throughout the following season and he’s been chasing deep runs ever since.

Event 2 Flight A: Wally Maddah on the Coco Grind

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed
 | Structure
Level 7: 200/400 with a 50 Ante
Flight A Entries: 218

Wally Maddah

Wally Maddah is in the midst of his 2018 WSOP Circuit debut. The Tampa area grinder is perhaps the most recognizable of all the Seminole regulars. By his own account, he owns 99 Seminole cashes — 50 in his home room in Tampa, 47 in Hollywood and two here in Coconut Creek. Do that math and that puts him one shy of 100 Seminole cashes.

He’s put a few entries toward a cash here in the $400 re-entry, but still has a long way to go to nab the elusive 100th.

Event 2 Flight A: Good Day for Curtis Daye

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed
 | Structure
Level 5: 100/200 with a 25 Ante
Flight A Entries: 207

Curtis Daye

The first break wrapped just about 15 minutes ago and the field has piled in nicely here for the $300,000 guarantee. Curtis Daye has enjoyed some of the best fortune during the early going and finds himself with about 55,000 chips and toward the top of the counts. Daye has a tough table with South Florida regulars Zoltan Czinkota and Elliot Zaydman facing off against him.

Event 2 Flight A: Mike Laake Going for Gold

$400 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed
 | Structure
Level 3: 75/150
Flight A Entries: 168

Mike Laake

Mike Laake made the short trek southeast to join the action here in Coconut Creek. Laake is one of Seminole Gaming’s best poker supporters and has carded more than $950,000 in wins during his on-felt career. His resume boasts a number of cashes at the Hollywood and Tampa properties, but just a few here in Coconut Creek. He’s a part of the Flight A field and looking for a strong score that would likely push him in to seven-figure territory for career earnings.
