All three players were in action in a limped pot. Steve Hagar was in the small blind, Gary Lucci the big and start-of-day chip leader Dimitry Agrachov was on the button.

Flop: Qc5c3h – It checked to Agrachov. He bet 30,000. It was back on Hagar and check-raised to 65,000. Lucci folded and Agrachov called. They were heads up to the turn.

Turn: Qc5c3h8h – Hagar lead for 70,000. Agrachov moved all-in and Hagar called. Agrachov was the at-risk player.

Agrachov: AdAh for an overpair
Hagar: Qh4h for top pair with a flush draw

River: Qc5c3h8h4c – Hagar missed his flush, but improved to queens-up to win the pot. Agrachov was left bust and his the rail in third place earning $9,396.

Hagar was the short stack going into heads-up play versus Lucci.

Bryce McVay was in the small blind and his last roughly 100,000 chips were in the pot preflop against Steve Hagar in the cutoff. McVay was at risk.

Hagar spiked an unlikely flush sending McVay home in fourth place.

Gary Lucci was under the gun and raised to 27,000. Eight-time ring winner Ari Engel was on the button and called. They were heads up to the flop.

Flop: 7c3s2h — Lucci checked. Engel bet 70,000. Lucci called.

Turn: 7c3s2h9d — Lucci checked again. Engel bet 138,000.

River: 7c3s2h9d9h — Lucci checked a third time. Engel, who had about 200,000 behind, took a moment to decide his action before announcing, “All-in.”

Lucci had Engel barely covered and called putting the tournament superstar at risk.

Engel was left speechless as the dealer broke down the stacks to verify sizes. Engel was indeed covered and hit the rail in fifth place for $4,940. Lucci took the chip lead with a stack of over 1,000,000.
