With 160,000 chips, Charles Mohler holds one of the biggest stacks in the room. Most recently, he chipped up without contest. A potential straight hit the turn and he lead out for 6,000. A late position player made it 12,000 and the button went into the tank before folding. It was back on Mohler and he shoved having the late-position player covered. The late-position player folded and Mohler raked the pot.

He contends for the chip lead with dinner break about 30 minutes away.

After beginning the Event 6 restart with the chip lead, Michael Cohen bowed out a bit premature finishing 34th for $1,259. Despite undoubtedly coming up shy of his hopes, the deep run meant Cohen outlasted more than 95 percent of the field.

Rather than get down on his luck, he got right back on the horse and is among the field in the Championship.

David Prociak

After finishing runner-up in the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open” about two months ago, David Prociak went ahead and won Event 7 of the Coco Poker Showdown. Prociak came out on top of the intimate, 55-entry field in the $240 Omaha 8 event to earn $3,740. While it didn’t match his six-figure score from a couple months prior, the performance and its corresponding victory were equally as gratifying.

After a head-to-head battle with Roger Goindoo saw Prociak surrender a pot, the Orlando native now sits at just over starting stack with about 22,000 in the Championship.
