Championship Flight A players have moved into the final level of their evening and each has an eye towards bagging up chips for a Day 2 return on Sunday.

Some players (names redacted to protect their fun) are participating in the time-honored tradition of loading up on beer at the end of the day. Last level beers.

They’ll play down until ten minutes remain on the clock and finish with a random number of hands at all tables.

Championship Day 1A: Shrinking Slowly

Marsha Wolak

The Championship opening flight is dropping its way down but not quickly as quickly as anticipated. There are still six tables in action and it looks like there will still be around five when they bag up at midnight.

Marsha Wolak is one of those players still around and the 2011 WSOP Ladies Champion is the last woman standing from the opening flight.

Championship Day 1A: Miles to Go

Level 8: 300/600/75 Ante
Remaining Day 1A Players: 64 of 132

TK Miles
TK Miles

Flight A of the Championship leveled up as the field dropped lower. It will be cut by half again before they bag up around midnight.

We found one of the very late entrants getting in the game and it’s TK Miles trying to improve on his 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Player of the Year finish. He can only go up by one spot. Miles finished second to David Prociak in the race when he went deep in several championship events including 18th here last year and fifth place at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Winter Poker Open Championship.
