The second of five flights is underway in the Stax Poker Lounge in this $300,000 Guaranteed prize pool in the opening event of the Lucky Hearts Poker Open.

Players start with 25k in chips and levels last 30 minutes each.  Registration and re-entry is open for the first four levels with the cage closing at ~1:15 pm

Today at the Lucky Hearts Poker Open at Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Coconut Creek we will have two additional flights of Event 1, our $300,000 Guaranteed No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament take place. The first flight of the day, Day 1B, will get underway at 11 a.m. with the second flight, Day 1C, starting later in the evening at 7 p.m. This is a deep stack tournament and players will start with 25,000 in chips. Levels are 30 minutes long and play will go for 14 levels.

In addition the Stax Poker Lounge will be running multiple satellites for a chance to get into the nationally televised WPT Championship Event. You can view a summary and schedule of all events at the following page:

Players, if they choose, can play again and take the biggest stack forward onto Saturday’s Day 2. Or they can sit on the stack they have. There are four more flights, with the next one starting at 11 a.m. today.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Alternates that require a new stack of chips to be places on the table will not be required to post a live blind for the level they enter the tournament.   A bet and four raises will be allowed for all events. Tournament Supervisors decisions are final and without recourse. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek reserves the right to alter, change or cancel the tournament. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek will not be held responsible in the event of typographical errors or misinformation in print or on any website pertaining to this or any tournament. Tournaments that do not conclude by 3 am will restart the next day at 2 pm. Seating may be limited. All tournament prizes including entries into subsequent tournaments are subject to the following: US permanent residents will be issued a W2-G on all net wins of $5,000 or more.  Residents of foreign countries will be issued a 1042-S on all winnings and will be subject to US tax withholding of 30%.  Exceptions may apply.  An ITIN (international taxpayer id number) must be provided and an IRS W8-BEN must be completed.

WPT Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship

COCONUT CREEK, Fla., (December 20, 2013) – Seminole Casino Coconut Creek will host the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open tournament series, January 29 to February 11, it was announced here today.

The tournament series, to be held in Seminole Casino Coconut Creek’s STAX Poker Lounge and Pavilion, will feature the largest buy-ins and guarantees ever offered by the property. With main event buy-ins ranging from $150 to $3,500 per event, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is guaranteeing over $1.8 million in winnings.

The 14-event series will feature No Limit Hold’em, Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha and a Six-Max Bounty event, in addition to the live-streamed $1 million guaranteed WPT Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship (February 7-11).
