Players are back from dinner break and registration closes with 183 entries. The last player in the field is Farid Jattin (Miami) who just busted the Six-Max and immediately jumps into the Championship Event.

Scott Lushing (Sunrise) is the chip leader with 220k, while Jordan Cristos (Palmdale) is right behind at 210k.

The field will play 4 more levels before bagging and tagging just before midnight.

Event 9: Figueroa doubles through Weissman to take chip lead

Victor Figueroa opened under the gun to 9K and was called by Chad Richard on the button. Harrison Gimbel folded out of the small blind and Joey Weissman made it 29K to go. Victor took a few seconds before announcing he was all in. Richard quickly folded and Weissman was quick to call, turned over AhJh. He was behind as Victor had AdKs. The board ran out Tc7d5c5s3h and Joey had to send over 272K in chips to Figueroa. This brought Victor up to just a bit more than 550K while Weissman dipped down to approximately 425K.

Farid Jattin open shoves 20k (6 bb) when chip leader Joey Weissman moves all in from the button, Raskin makes a tough decision and calls for 160k and his tournament life.

Farid Jattin suffers a tough beat when his set of 5s are run down by Joey Weissman who hits a set of Aces on the river for a 250k double-up.

The hand leaves Jattin short as he’s then part of a three-way all in with 8d5d  against Joey Weissman 7x7x and Micah Raskin AdJd.

Weissman’s pocket pair holds and he eliminates Raskin and Jattin.

Jattin finishes in 6th place for $5,225 because he began the hand with the fewest chips.

Seth Berger’s run at two trophies in the Lucky Hearts Poker Open comes at the hands of Farid Jattin who doubles through Berger then gets the knockout.

On the first hand Jattin’s QQ flops a set against AQ for a 60k double-up.  The hand cuts Berger in half and the two tangle again with Jattin holding KQ > Q8.

Berger finishes in 7th place for $4,180; he who won Event 6 ($1k) earlier this week for $26,520.

 

Event 11: Bounty Tournament Underway

$200 Double Green Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-entry)

Another trophy is up for grabs, and as players  chase after the hardware they’ll collect $50 for each knockout, not counting the prize money.

The field starts with 6k chips and 30 minute levels.

Registration and re-entry is open for the first four levels with the cage closing at ~8:10 pm.

Jordan Cristos leads the chip counts with 195k, but Scott Lushing is right behind him at 190k after winning a big pot to bust Chance Kornuth.

The is the last level before the 75 minute dinner break which starts at 6:25 pm.

Players can register or re-enter through the break with the cage closing at ~7:40 pm.
