Both Kevin Blewitt and Jeff Platt were among the leaders at the last break but now they are the two big stacks in the room with time running out.

Blewitt knocked a player out when they got the chips in after a 9d7h2h flop. He had 4h3h for a flush draw against big slick, picked up an open-ended straight draw on the 5d turn, and made a heart flush on the 9h river.

Jeff Platt was sitting in the big blind when Jake Schwartz open-shoved for 51,000 from the small blind with ac]Kc and woke up with AsAd. His aces held, Schwartz was sent out, and Platt moved up.

Kevin Blewitt – 305,500 (122 bb)

He took a couple minutes to think it through and tossed in a chip to call.

Zarcadoolas was good with his trip tens against two pair queens and tens to double up. He’s looking for another deep run this series after finishing ninth out of 798 in Event 1.

We have more of our regular players taking a shot at the Main Event title and filling in the gaps at the tables. More than 90 minutes remaining to come down to the Poker Room or you can take your shot tomorrow in Flight C at 11 am.

Brett Bader, Phil Hui, Jake Schwartz, and T.K. Miles are among the most recent additions to the tournament. Miles ran deep in this tournament in August when he chopped heads-up with Raminder Singh, taking home the same amount but without the ProAM seat.

Instead, Miles played in the 2021 Tampa Winter Poker Open and took that one down for $213K.

Jamie Kerstetter is one of the recent entries, the counterbalance between Lon McEachern and Norm Chad in the WSOP broadcast booth. Between her and Jeff Platt of PokerGO on the other side of the room, we have some of the top voices for televised/live-streamed poker.

Other friendly faces today include Mike Beasley, Jorge Gomez, Evan Teitelbaum, Pedro Palacio, and former WSOP Ladies Champion Jacquelyn Scott.

Raminder Singh

The 122 entries in Flight B are pushing the RunGood Main Event to new levels and they are going to put another $100,000 on top of the guarantee before too long.

Raminder Singh was one of the recent entries, our defending champ back to try and do it again. He won the inaugural RunGood Main Event last summer for a $45,456 then went to Las Vegas and won their ProAM in December.

Singh also holds a unique distinction; only a few players have won a trophy at each of our three Seminole Poker Rooms in Florida; in addition to the Main Event here in 2021, he won the $600 Deep Stack during the 2020 Tampa Winter Poker Open, and in Hollywood, he holds the record for most wins ever at eight.
