It was four-ways to a turn and Steven McKoy bet 30,000 from middle position. Jamie Kerstetter was the only one to come along and she called from the button.

The turn was , McKoy checked, Kerstetter bet 90,000 and McKoy check-raised all in for 280,000. Kerstetter quickly called and put McKoy at risk.

On the second hand on the bubble, action folded to Daniel Pearlman on the button and he opened to 17,000. Sean Shah moved all in for 85,000 from the big blind and Pearlman quickly called.

Then they waited for the action to finish at the other tables. Once they were done, we saw the hands.

On the last hand before the break, Luke Brereton and Nadya Magnus were heads up to a flop. Brereton bet 85,500 from the small blind leaving a single 5K chip behind. Magnus put him all in and he thought for a few minutes before he called.

Magnus was ahead with her pair of kings and Brereton needed to hit his open-ended straight draw to stay in the game. The board finished with the turn and river to send Brereton out.

With 77 players remaining on break and 76 getting paid, they will go into hand-for-hand mode on the bubble when they return.

Solange Lucas was the only player in today’s field to take advantage of the best-stack-forward format. She bagged in Flight A, was not happy with her stack, and bagged bigger in Flight C.

But the good news ended here. She got her stack in the middle with big slick versus big slick and was the victim of the unlucky four flush to out short of the money bubble.

The field is dropping closer to the money bubble as they get ready to head into Level 17. The pace will slow as some cash appears on the horizon but they should get there before the first break.

Jeff Platt is having himself a nice start to Day 2. He began with the fourth-biggest bag of the day and was already spinning it up when he got into a hand with Jacob Flasterstein.

Flasterstein opened to 9,000 from early position and Platt three-bet to 27,000 from the cutoff.

“You want to play or do you want to gamble?” Flasterstein asked.

“A little of both?” Platt shrugged/laughed.

Flasterstein called, the flop came and he checked. Platt bet 15,000 and Flasterstein check-raised to 45,000. Platt called, the turn was , Flasterstein moved all in for 98,500 and Platt quickly called.

After an early position raise to 9,000, Haim Toorgeman moved all in for 70,500 from middle position. Terry “Papa” Karn asked for a count, thought about coming along, but folded from the cutoff. Antonio De Silva shipped from the small blind to get a fold from the big and OG raiser.

Three starting flights are in the books for the 2022 RunGood Main Event and we had 608 entries in the field to create a fantastic prize pool that nearly tripled the $200,000 guarantee. Today, 134 players return with a chance to win the trophy and a seat in the RunGood All-Stars ProAM in Las Vegas.

Kevin Blewitt bagged the biggest stack and returns with the lead followed by Vladimir Grechnikov. But everyone has some work ahead of them with only 76 making the money.
