$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 6: 300/600/75 Ante
Sofia Lövgren (Gothenberg, Sweden)
Today’s field has gone international with the inclusion of Sofia Lövgren in the game. We have no actual proof, but we believe she is the first Swede in the Event 1 field.
Lövgren immediately took a little good-natured needling about her youthful appearance but that might work in her favor. She is dangerous and has tournament cashes in eight different countries including seven in WSOP events. Lövgren also has two WPT cashes including last week when she was the big chip leader at the WPT Borgata Poker Open deep on Day 2.
She helped push the entrant count over 180 with less than two hours to get involved.

Dan Weitzenkorn (Williamsville, NY)
During the break, Flight 1E became the biggest flight so far in Event 1 with 162 entrants in the game as Level 5 gets underway.
Dan Weitzenkorn has a nice lead at the first break and it seems he got there in fun fashion. He scored an early knockout when his flopped gutshot/flush draw got there on a river to knock out a player with flopped two pair. The KO almost sent a chair flying during the quick exit.
Weitzenkorn has one career cash and it came earlier this year during the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open.
Top and notable counts:
Dan Weitzenkorn – 61,275 (153 bb) Iman Dan – 48,775 (122 bb) Adewale Adeyemi – 43,124 (108 bb) Rafael Marcondes – 42,325 (106 bb) Jose Parra – 29,850 (75 bb) Luis Santoni – 22,075 (55 bb) Tracey Gelb – 21,100 (53 bb) Elliott Zaydman – 18,625 (47 bb) Jacquelyn Scott – 12,225 (31 bb)
$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 4: 100/200/25 Ante
Players are heading off on a 15-minute break with 145 entrants showing on the information board. That leaves them just shy of topping the biggest flight so far, we had 152 for the Thursday evening session, and three hours remaining to register.
We’ll take a look at the early leaders and find some big stacks while they’re away.
$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 4: 100/200/25 Ante
It seems Saturday afternoon is a good time to play some poker. Flight 1E is already working itself up to be the biggest flight of the tournament and they’re still waiting on their first break.
There are 135 entrants in the game at the start of Level 4 and more coming in the door.
$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 3: 75/150
Jacquelyn Scott (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
We don’t get very many WSOP bracelet winners in the earlier events of the series but we have one today. Jacquelyn Scott had cashes all over the state of Florida and added Nevada to the list this summer.
She opened her Vegas summer by cashing in the WPT500 event and that was a small start. A month later she earned the first WSOP cash of her career and it just happened to be the biggest payout in the tournament. She outlasted 794 other players to win the WSOP Ladies Championship in front of a lot of friends from South Florida.
She’s with us today as the entrant count hit triple digits faster than any of the previous flights.
$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 2: 50/100
TJ Shulman (Duluth, GA)
TJ Shulman is back in the Coco Poker Open after misfiring on his previous bullet. He won’t have an easy time with a tough early table that includes Luis Santoni (first cash of the series with fifth in Event 2 PLO) and Francis Margaglione.
Shulman has over $370,000 in career earnings including a $325 Bounty event title here during the WPT Regional Series.
$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 1: 25/50
Players are taking their seats in the tournament area and we’re about to get the final day of Event 1 underway. Four flights are in the can with the last two running today, the current one kicking off in a few minutes and the evening session tonight at 7pm.
The tournament drew 552 entrants over the first four starts with 70 players surviving to move on to Day 2. Everyone is chasing Yves Fequiere for the chip lead after he put 347,000 in his bag, nearly 100,000 more than second place Kenneth Bruno.
Players sit down to 16,000 stacks and play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the end of Level 9 at approximately 4pm. Play will end in Flight 1E at the end of Level 14 with remaining players coming back for Day 2 tomorrow at 2pm.

Czinkota is the overall chip leader, claiming the bonus prize for Day 1D. His efforts today earn him a free seat to the $2,500 buy-in Championship event, held on October 1 and boasting a $1 million guarantee.
The Day 1D survivors can have Saturday off if they want it. If they don’t, they’re permitted to re-enter this event, with the best-stack-forward format allowing them to take their biggest stack into Day 2.
Day 1E begins at 11:00 AM, and Day 1F starts at 7:00 PM. Registration and re-entry remain open for nine levels during each flight, so players have until midnight local time to join the field.
