It took two big hands to send Bryce McVay from sitting among the leaders to out in fourth place.

First, it was Rodney Moret-Rojas putting his last 1,200,000 in the middle with against McVay’s and the rivered six sent McVay down to 550,000.

Two hands later, Moret-Rojas limped from under the gun and McVay moved all in from the big blind for 525,000 total. Moret-Rojas called and McVay was in good shape again.

The surprisingly quick pace at the final table continued. After Michael Kopanski was eliminated in ninth place, Jeff Bohanek followed in eighth with Michael Yorra getting his chips in the middle soon after.

The Day 2 starting chip leader was all in with but Justin Harvell’s was best in the end.
