Eric Siegel

The 10 remaining players went on a 15-minute break and returned trying to reach the final table. Eric Siegel found himself short, he moved all in from under the gun for 45,000 and it folded to Steven McKoy in the big blind.

“Good news for you,” McKoy said. “I haven’t looked.”

They both laughed, McKoy called, and they both sweated his peel. First was the Qd.

“That’s good for me,” Siegel said. “That’s my best card.”

McKoy’s last card was the 7h and Siegel was in great shape with QcJh.

The flop came AhKh6d, safe for Siegel and the turn was 3d. The river was bad news when McKoy paired the 7c to send Siegel out.

“I felt it coming,” Siegel joked with McKoy. “I just thought it was going to be the turn.”

With Siegel eliminated, the clock was paused as the last nine players drew seats at the final table.
