Brian Altman (right) and Greg Spinder

Ruslan Dykshteyn opened to 9,000 from early position and Greg Spinder called from middle position. It was on start-of-day chip leader Brian Altman — who’d been knocked down and had less chips than Dykshteyn — and he three-bet to 32,000. Dykshteyn found a reluctant fold while Spinder four-bet all-in for about 70,000. Altman called and it was table time.

Altman: KsKc
Spinder: ThTd

Runout: 9s5h4d7d7h

Altman’s kings were best and Spinder was eliminated shy of the money. Dykshteyn made it known he would have flopped a set, and had he been in the hand Altman would have gone from start-of-day chip leader to out within 15 minutes.

Brian Altman – 280,000
Greg Spinder – Eliminated
