It was a long process playing into the Event 7 money. Taking two minutes off the clock per hand, they went through more than a love to lose one player.

That one player was former SHRP champ, James Salmon. He was all in for 52,000 with KsQd against Kd8h but was unlucky on the 8h5s2hKcQd run out. Salmon almost found a save when another player at risk at a nearby table, but a river flush left Salmon as the sole player eliminated.

There’s plenty of talent still in contention for the title including Phil Hui, Justin Shape, Martin Ryan, Raminder Singh, John Holley, Bryce McVay, and Paul Balzano.
