Zachary Mullennix

With Zachary Mullennix on the button with the chip lead, he saw a tc9c8h flop with David Berman. Both players checked and the turn was kh. Berman checked, Mullennix bet 100,000 and Berman check-raised to 335,000.

Mullennix thought for a minute and called before the 7d river. Berman almost immediately shoved for 760,000 and Mullennix went into a deeper tank.

“I can’t really beat anything,” Mullennix told Berman.

That was not correct.

After another minute, Mullennix tossed in some chips and Berman said “good call”.

Berman: qc4s
Mullennix: kc9d

Kings up was good against queen-high and Mullennix earned his first WSOP Circuit ring along with $19,758 while Berman took home a $12,210 consolation prize.

1st: $19,758 + WSOP Circuit ring
2nd: $12,210
