The third round is underway for most of the remaining field. Players begin these matches with 30,000 chips, and the blinds start at 300/600. It’s the bubble round, too, with the winners advancing into the Quarterfinals and into the money. Each of the final eight players will earn at least $1,000 this evening.

There is still one Round 2 match in progress, though Schuyler Thornton has a significant chip lead over Trevor Doughty. Howard Mash awaits the winner, and this three are the only players not yet in Round 2 action.
