A few hands after his ace-jack was good, Stu Paterson sent two players to the rail to take the chip lead early in Level 18.
According to the table, Julie McGrath shoved under the gun and Paterson was in the small blind. It’s unclear how the action went down, but Paterson and Howard Mash — who was in the big blind — got the last of Mash’s chips in the middle as well. In a three-way pot, Paterson had both players covered and was in the lead with the possibility of eliminating two.

Paterson’s tens held and he eliminated both players while taking the chip lead in the process.
For Paterson, Coconut Creek success is nothing new. He won the Coco Poker Showdown Championship in January of this year good for $32,785.
