With all the excitement surrounding the Championship Event of the 2014 Lucky Hearts Poker Open kicking off, it was no surprise that Event 11, a $200 Double Green Chip Bounty NLHE tournament, would wind up with the smallest field yet as a total of 30 entrants took part. That didn’t mean there wasn’t some serious poker going on and before all was said and done it was two winners of previous events that would emerge on top and move themselves into serious contention for the tournament leader board promotion.

Ending up in 2nd place as Jason Bartholomew, whose win in Event 1 had already cemented him as one of the biggest winners of the series as he took home $64,887 for his effort there. Finishing one spot better and notching his 2nd win of the series was Jermaine Phang. Jermaine had previously bested the field in Event 4 for $17,000 for what was his biggest tournament win ever. When you’re hot, you’re hot and Phang’s win moves him into 1st place in the tournament leader board promotion with Bartholomew not far behind in 4th place.
