The first event of the 2014 Coco Poker Open drew a very nice 984 entrants over the first five starting flights but only 172 of them survived to come back for Day 2. They return today to determine the first champion of the series.

The last 90 remaining will all get a piece for the $295,200 prize pool with a min-cash earning $620 while they’re all aiming for the top prize of $72,374.

Adewale Adeyemi ended Flight 1B with 410,700 which is good enough to begin today with the overall lead. Nabil Bassil and Robert Alberro aren’t far behind along with other regulars Mukul Pahuja, Jessica Dawley, Eric Piderit, Zoltan Czinkota, and Nick Schwarmann.

They are about to get underway and will play 40-minute levels until there is one player standing.
