$1,000,000 guaranteed Championship begins Friday, September 23rd and is points eligible in the new Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year race
The poker chips fly at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Coconut Creek, Florida beginning tomorrow. The first of two of 15 primary events on the #CocoPokerOpen schedule begin at 12-noon and 6pm. Kicking off the action is a $240 Omaha hi-low tournament with a $10,000 guarantee. From there, a $130 deep stack event with a $30,000 guarantee gets the evening portion underway.
Following the opening day of play, primary events take a back seat to Championship satellites on Thursday. The $2,500 buy-in, $1,000,000 guaranteed finale begins Friday, September 23rd with the first of two starting flights. Players begin with 25,000 chips, play 60-minute levels throughout and are permitted unlimited re-entry.
The Championship marks the second of 10 points-eligible events in the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year race. This year’s points model was adjusted to allow more transparency in the way points are awarded and to permit players to quickly and easily put a value on their-in-the-money finishes. Additionally, it was streamlined to provide added value in the form of Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship seats added to each Championship prize pool.
Coco Poker Open updates will be available each day throughout the series right here on SeminoleCoconutCreekPoker.com. See you tomorrow!
