Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Mike Laake is in the midst of what he referred to as a “guest appearance”. Laake, who resides across the state in Punta Gorda, made the trek to Coconut Creek to try his hand in one of the tour’s championship events.

Laake finished 10th in last October’s Coco Poker Open Championship earning $12,000 in the process. His try at a follow-up deep run is off to a slow start as he sits with about 11,500 chips in Level 3.
