Championship: Dinner Break

WPT Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship

The remaining 74 players are on a 75 minute dinner break (return at approximately 9 pm). The average stack is 168K and they will be returning to blinds of 1.5K/3K (56 big blinds).

Julius Zwail, our friendly 94 year old retired NY police officer, has sadly been eliminated at the hands of John DiBella when his pocket Aces were behind DiBella’s Q-4 on a Q-8-2-4 board. Others joining Julius on the rail include Dan Heimiller, Harrison Gimbel, Darryl Fish, and Mike Linster.

Among those still in the running are players like Anthony Zinno who just doubled up with A-T against A-Q when he got it all in on an A-T-6 flop and it held. Local boy Mukul Pahuja also is sitting pretty after getting paid off on a 80K+ river bet with a full house. They are joined by notables and locals such as Ian O’Hara, Ryan D’Angelo, Joey Weissman, Matt Waxman, Ronit Chamani, Corrie Wunstel, Lily Kiletto, John Holley,  Shannon Shorr, Justin Zaki, Keven Stammen, Jess Cohen, Brett Bader, Tony Cousineau, and Ronnie Bardah.

Local boy Michael Laake is currently sitting on top of the leader board with over 600K in chips.
