WSOP gold bracelet winner Jackie Scott
Up for grabs in the WSOP Circuit Main Event is a gold ring, but one player in the field that’s already scored WSOP hardware is Jackie Scott. The South Florida resident made Day 2 via yesterday’s Day 1B. She arrived for this morning’s play and joked saying she had to bring out the hardware today because some players were giving her a hard time.
Scott, who won her gold bracelet in the WSOP Ladies Event, is an accomplished player who complements her trophy with nearly $270,000 in reported earnings. She’s making some moves on Day 2 and is currently seated at Table 7, gold bracelet on her left wrist.
After beginning the day with 120,000, Wong is flirting with the 300,000 mark following a recent double-up. He picked up and held against on a runout. Wong’s last 113,500 got in the middle at the end, and when the dust settled he raked a pot worth 295,000.

Chip leader Harry O’Brien pictured on Day 1B
After a huge, 735-entry turnout, the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event is down to 162 remaining and on to Day 2.
The big field generated a total prize pool worth $1,113,525 easily besting the $1,000,000 guarantee the property slapped on the event. Only the top 81 finish in the money meaning the field needs to trim itself in half before anyone goes home with pockets of money.
Leading the way is Day 1B’s Harry O’Brien who put a hurt on the event bagging 589,500 chips. Just one other player — Joshua Hood with 536,000 — sits above a half million.
There is some early morning poker going in The Pavilion today at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
The World Series of Poker Circuit Seniors Event is off and running with a $250 buy-in, unlimited re-entry and $25,000 guaranteed. September WSOP Circuit Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Coconut Creek, FL Event 11 $250 Turbo NLH (Re-Entry) Entries: 112 Prize Pool: $22,400 September 22, 2018
Wally Maddah, WSOP Circuit Event 11 winner
The WSOP Circuit had a fast-paced tournament on the schedule for a Saturday afternoon that would award another ring before the night was through. Nine hours after the start of the tournament, SHRP favorite Wally Maddah earned his first WSOP Circuit ring along with $6,721.
The tournament drew 112 entries to put $22,400 in the prize pool and the last 12 players took home some money. There were only two tables remaining shortly after registration closed and they were in the money a few levels later.
Event 3 champion Martin Ryan entered the final table with a chance for ring number seven. He fell short in fourth place but that result was good enough to vault him over Zo Karim for the Casino Championship lead.
Ryan was eliminated by Maddah and that put him in the lead and he stayed there until the end. He sent Luke Speer out in third place and rivered a straight against Andre Bryan to take the title in the early Sunday hours.
On top of the WSOP Circuit ring, this is also the 100th career recorded Seminole Hard Rock Poker cash. Maddah has 50 cashes at his SHRP home in Tampa, 47 down south in Hollywood, and this is his third trip to the Coco Poker payout desk.
Congratulations to Wally on the title and thanks to all our players who came out to our last one-day ring event to make it a good one.
