John DePersio was staying active.

“I’m the only one trying to knock people out,” he joked.

Soon after he eliminated Haim Toorgeman, Nagui Yassa put his 313,000 in the middle and DePersio called with a chance for another knockout. His was in trouble against and the board sent a double to his neighbor.

A few hands later, Rodney Moret-Rojas open-shoved for 263,000 and DePersio called from the small blind.

The two big stacks at the final table went to battle once again. In early action, Haim Toorgeman doubled into the lead through John DePersio into the lead but DePersio soon moved back on top.

After Toorgeman sent a double across the table, he opened soon after for 75,000 and DePersio three-bet to 200,000 from the button. Toorgeman quickly announced all in and DePersio called after getting the count of 736,000.

DePersio was dominating and moved much further ahead on the flop. The board finished and for the shocking end of Toorgeman while DePersio stacked up more than half of the chips in play with seven remaining.

Tom Bielecky was playing the patience game. He was down to exactly 100,000 and moved all in from the button after Haim Toorgeman opened to 75,000. Toorgeman called the extra 25,000 to put Bielecky at risk.

More fireworks early and John DePersio was involved once again. Ben Zamani open-shoved for 71,000 and Ory Hen raised next to act to 200,000 (with 120,000 behind). John DePersio moved all in from the small blind and Hen called at risk as well.

On one of the first hands of the final table, Haim Toorgeman and John DePersio were heads up to the flop. Toorgeman put his last 260,000 in the middle and DePersio called with his big stack and big hand.

Chris Conrad got his chips in good but the end result was not. He opened to 28,000 and faced a re-raise all in for 227,000 from Nagui Yassa. He called with a chance to set the final table.
