Event 1 Day 1A: Bolek Can't Fade The Flush

$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Blinds 100/200

With a little more than 15,000 already in the pot and the board showing 4s4c2c9s, Christopher Bolek’s lone opponent in the hand moved all in for 18,450.

Bolek wasted little time in calling prompting an “oh sh**” from his opponent as he figured Bolek had him beat. He was correct in that assumption as Bolek had 7h4h for flopped trip fours. His opponent held 9c7c for a flopped flush draw and a turned pair of nines. The river was the Kc to give Bolek’s opponent a flush and double up. Bolek still had chips after the loss – approximately 17,500.
